Dr. Michael Parlapiano, PT
Dr. Michael Parlapiano, PT, attended Springfield College in Springfield, MA where he graduated with his BS in 2001. In 2002, he completed his graduate work earning an MSPT from Springfield College. After working in outpatient orthopedics for 4 years, Dr. Parlapiano enrolled in Sage Graduate School in Troy, NY where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Dr. Parlapiano has been treating outpatient orthopedics since 2002. He has a strong manual therapy background with extensive knowledge of strength and conditioning. He has been taking care of patients in Sullivan County since 2005.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, running, weight training, and powerlifting.
He and his partner, Dr. Chris McGinnis, teamed up in 2007 and are proud to introduce Premier Care Physical Therapy to the residents of Sullivan County, NY
Dr. Chris McGinnis, PT
Dr. Chris McGinnis, PT, is a life-long Sullivan County resident who attended Livingston Manor Central School as a child. Dr. McGinnis holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY and a Master’s of Science degree from Springfield College in Springfield, MA in the area of Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. Dr. McGinnis continued on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College in Orangeburg, NY.
Dr. McGinnis has worked as a Physical Therapist since 2007, in addition to having a strong background in cardiac and pulmonary diseases and durable medical equipment fitting.
Dr. McGinnis enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and playing his saxophone with the Callicoon Center Band.
Dr. Shane Weigand, PT
Dr. Shane Weigand was born and raised in Sullivan County. He attended Ithaca College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in exercise science in 2010. He then continued his education, earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Sage Graduate school in 2013. He has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics.
Luis Villafane, PTA
Luis Villafane was born and raised in Orange county. He graduated from Orange County Community College in 2012 earning his associate's degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program. Luis has been working since 2012 in outpatient orthopedics.
Mary Weigand, PTA
Mary Weigand is a Physical Therapist Assistant who earned her degree at Orange County Community College in 2020. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts with a major in Psychology and duel minor in Education and Public Health from SUNY Albany in 2016. Mary has worked in the health and wellness industry previously as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer while obtaining her college education. She has been working as a professional in the outpatient PT setting for 2 years.
